Privacy Policy
Effective date: 23 October 2026
This policy explains how DMA.SALE, at https://dma.sale (“the site” or “we”), handles personal information when you register, browse, order, and use a software license. Using the site means you have read this policy. It applies together with the Terms of Service. The three language versions have the same meaning. If they differ, the Simplified Chinese version controls.
1. Information we handle
Account. When you register we store your email address, a one-way digest of your password, display name, interface language, account status, and the times you registered and last signed in. We do not store a password we can turn back into the original. If email verification is on, we send a code to that address. The code is only used to confirm it is you, and it expires quickly.
Orders. We store the order number, product, options, quantity, amount, currency, discounts, status, and the license key delivered on that order. If you check out as a guest, we store the email address you enter so the order can be looked up.
Payment. Payment is processed by the provider you choose. We receive the payment status, the amount, and the provider’s transaction reference, so we can confirm the order. We do not store a full card number or a payment password.
Balance. If you use a site balance, we record top-ups, spending, and refunds.
Logs. To keep the service secure and running, we record IP address, browser type, whether a sign-in succeeded, and the request identifiers we need. Server operation logs are normally kept for about 30 days.
Device identifier. When you run the software, the software and its licensing service may read a device identifier and bind the key to one device, so one key is not used by several people at once. We do not use that identifier for advertising. If a device is unbound, we only send the licensing service a request to do that.
Browser storage. We use cookies or local storage that are needed to keep you signed in and to remember your language. You can clear them in your browser. You will then need to sign in again.
If we later offer sign-in through another account provider, we receive the identifier that provider uses for the account, and any username or picture it supplies. We use those only to create or sign in to your account on this site.
2. Why we handle it
- To create your account, take payment, deliver the key, process a refund, and let you look up an order. This is necessary to perform the contract with you.
- To prevent fraud, chargebacks, and unauthorized access, and to keep the records a dispute requires.
- To reply when you contact us.
- To keep or provide records when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles across other sites.
3. Who else receives it
- Payment providers. They handle what a payment requires under their own privacy policies.
- The software licensing service. To issue a key and count its length, we send that service our order reference, the product, and the length. We do not send your password. Device binding is handled by the software when you run it.
- Infrastructure. The providers that host the site and the database process this data on our instructions.
- Legal process. We provide records when a law, a court, or a competent authority requires it, or when it is necessary to protect the site, users, or the public.
A recipient may be outside your country or region. We send only what the purpose above requires.
4. How long we keep it
Account information stays until you ask us to delete it and we no longer need it for an open order. Order, payment, and refund records stay after the 30-day refund window for as long as we reasonably need them to handle a dispute, prevent fraud, and keep financial records. We then delete them or remove identifiers. A verification code is not used after it expires. Operation logs are normally deleted after about 30 days.
5. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Passwords are stored as digests, and access to the administration area is restricted. No transmission or storage can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Keep your password and your keys to yourself.
6. What you can ask
You can sign in to view and correct details such as your display name. You can also ask us to describe the account and order information we hold, to correct something that is wrong, or to delete an account we no longer need. Where order or payment records are still required for a refund, a dispute, fraud prevention, or a legal bookkeeping duty, we keep them until that purpose is finished and we tell you why.
Write from your registered email, or through the order on https://dma.sale from the account that placed it, so we can tell the request is yours.
7. Children
The site is for people who can enter a contract themselves. It is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect a child’s personal information. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy and change the effective date on this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you have read the updated policy.
